Coach mode
Run a roster, assign programs, and follow every rep — for coaches and their athletes.
For coaches: getting set up
ProCoach mode is included with Pro during early access. Turn it on in Settings › Coaching and your roster becomes your home screen.
- 01
Add athletes
In person: show the join code and they scan it with their phone camera — two taps and they're on. Remote: share the invite link and code over text or email. You can also create a named invite for a specific athlete; it sits on your roster as pending until they claim it.
- 02
Organize the roster
Give each athlete a private label and an optional group — Varsity, Tuesday crew, whatever fits. The roster sorts needs-attention first, and you can filter by group.
- 03
Assign programs
Send any program — AI-generated or one you built — to a single athlete or a whole group at once. Athletes accept the assignment on their side; you'll see its status either way.
What a coach sees
- At a glance per athlete: last trained, this week's sessions, current program and week, and who needs attention.
- In depth: the athlete's own Progress view — strength trends, PRs, streak — plus full session history.
- Per session: every exercise with actual sets, reps, and weights, effort ratings, duration, and PRs earned.
- Feedback: leave notes anchored to specific sessions, so coaching stays attached to the work.
For athletes: joining and what's yours
Joining takes a code — scanned in person or from a link. If you don't have the app yet, the invite link walks you through download and the code adds you to the roster right after signup. Programs your coach assigns run free while you're on their roster. Everything else on your account follows the normal rules.
A coach's program lives in a “From your coach”space — it's a license that exists while the relationship does, and you can accept or pass on any assignment. What's always yours: your logged workouts, PRs, and strength history. Leave a roster (or get removed) and your data stays with you; your own programs are untouched, and any future program starts from the weights you actually lifted.
Privacy and control
- Coaches see training data, not your account. Data sharing is part of being on a roster, and leaving ends it.
- Either side can end the relationship, with the consequences spelled out before confirming.
- Re-joining later is just the code again — your history reattaches.
