07The GolfBod guide

Sharing programs

Program codes: share what you built, import what you're sent.

Program codes

Any program can be shared with a program code — a short code (and link) you can send over text, a group chat, or anywhere else. The recipient enters it and gets their own copy of the program.

  • A copy, not a subscription to your edits.Once imported, their program is theirs — changes you make later don't rewrite what they're running.
  • Their numbers, not yours. The structure carries over; the weights come from the recipient's own logged history and calibration.
  • Their subscription rules apply — importing a code follows the same plan rules as any other program on their account.

When to use codes vs. coach mode

Codes are for giving a program away — a buddy wants your block, a one-time handoff, no ongoing relationship. If you want to keep coachingthe person — assign programs over time, see their sessions, leave feedback — that's coach mode, covered in the next chapter. The two are deliberately separate: a code is a gift; a coach assignment stays connected.

Good to know

Program codes ride the same mechanics as referral codes — one code, entered once, bound to the account that redeemed it.
